About the Institution
Our client is a Christian-based transformational sanctuary for boys. Beyond academics, they restore identity and nurture principled, global leaders. To strengthen their fundraising and donor engagement, our client is seeking a passionate and proactive Resource Mobilization & Grants Associate.
Role Overview
The Resource Mobilization & Grants Associate will be instrumental in driving the school’s fundraising readiness. The role involves proposal writing, donor engagement, and grants management. This is a great opportunity for a young professional with 2–4 years of experience to grow in the donor engagement and development sector.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development & Research
- Draft clear, compelling concept notes and funding proposals.
- Research local and international donor opportunities.
- Support the preparation of donor-facing materials (profiles, brochures, presentations).
Donor Engagement
- Maintain active communication with existing and prospective donors.
- Support logistics for donor visits and networking events.
- Track and update donor engagement pipeline weekly.
Grants Management & Compliance
- Ensure donor requirements and compliance standards are met.
- Monitor grant timelines and reporting obligations.
- Work with Finance to ensure proper utilization and reporting of funds.
Institutional Support
- Provide weekly donor engagement updates to the CEO and Board.
- Collaborate across departments to align proposals with operational needs.
- Foster a culture of accountability and stewardship.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in resource mobilization, donor relations, or grants management.
- Proven ability to draft donor proposals and reports.
- Knowledge of donor compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, research, and networking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with donor portals is an added advantage.
