Job Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and/or personnel while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations
• Plan optimal routes to ensure timely delivery and fuel efficiency
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company driving policies
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of all items
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any vehicle defects, damages, or maintenance issues immediately
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, and in good working condition at all times
• Monitor fluid levels, tire pressure, and other basic maintenance requirements
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled servicing

Documentation and Compliance

• Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation and logbooks
• Obtain necessary signatures and proof of delivery
• Ensure all required licenses, permits, and vehicle documentation are current
• Comply with hours of service regulations and company policies
• Report accidents, incidents, or delays promptly to management

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license 
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Completion of secondary education or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional driving experience
• Proven track record of safe driving
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations
• Strong sense of direction and route planning abilities
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situation
