About the Role
Excelon Limited, a leading provider of outsourced HR solutions, is seeking to recruit a dedicated HR Assistant to be seconded to one of our client hotels based in Laikipia. The successful candidate will support day-to-day human resource operations within the hotel, ensuring compliance, smooth HR processes, and
staff welfare.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of hotel staff.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant staff data.
Track statutory compliance, leave, performance appraisals, and training records.
Handle routine employee queries and provide HR administrative support.
Assist in disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with labour laws.
Coordinate health & safety records, licenses, and statutory obligations.
Prepare periodic HR reports for both the hotel and Excelon Limited.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 1–2 years’ experience in HR or administration (hospitality industry is an added advantage).
Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
