Our client is seeking to recruit a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support the daily operations of the HR department. The successful candidate will assist in implementing HR policies, managing employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, and supporting payroll and benefits administration.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism. They will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and efficient HR support across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and induction ofstaff.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant staff data.
Track statutory compliance, leave, performance appraisals, and training records.
Handle routine employee queries and provide HR administrative support.
Assist in disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with labour laws.
Coordinate health & safety records, licenses, and statutory obligations.
Prepare periodic HR reports for both the hotel and Excelon Limited.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 1–2 years’ experience in HR or administration.
Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
