Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to promote and sell the company’s animal feed products to farmers, distributors, and agro-dealers. The role involves developing new markets, maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting the growth of the company’s feed production business.
Promote and sell the company’s animal feed products (e.g., poultry, livestock, fish feeds).
Identify and develop new customers, including farmers, retailers, and distributors.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
Visit farms, shops, and distributors regularly to take orders and follow up on deliveries.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
Collect market information, including competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback.
Explain product benefits, usage, and feeding guidelines to customers clearly and accurately.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and payments.
Prepare sales reports, customer records, and forecasts as required by management.
Participate in promotions, field demonstrations, and marketing activities.
Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in sales, preferably in animal feeds, agriculture, or FMCG.
Good understanding of livestock or poultry farming is an added advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, or sales apps).
Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
