Job Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to promote and sell the company’s animal feed products to farmers, distributors, and agro-dealers. The role involves developing new markets, maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting the growth of the company’s feed production business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s animal feed products (e.g., poultry, livestock, fish feeds).

  • Identify and develop new customers, including farmers, retailers, and distributors.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.

  • Visit farms, shops, and distributors regularly to take orders and follow up on deliveries.

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.

  • Collect market information, including competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback.

  • Explain product benefits, usage, and feeding guidelines to customers clearly and accurately.

  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and payments.

  • Prepare sales reports, customer records, and forecasts as required by management.

  • Participate in promotions, field demonstrations, and marketing activities.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in animal feeds, agriculture, or FMCG.

  • Good understanding of livestock or poultry farming is an added advantage.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, or sales apps).

  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
