Our client, a reputable and progressive learning institution in Kiambu County, dedicated to academic excellence and holistic child development, is seeking to recruit a visionary, results-oriented, and experienced School Principal to lead its Primary and Junior Secondary sections.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Administration
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee school operations (Primary to JSS).
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education, KNEC, and TSC regulations.
- Lead curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment (CBC & 8-4-4 transition).
- Develop and enforce policies, discipline standards, and performance systems.
Academic Excellence
- Oversee teaching and learning, ensuring high academic performance.
- Monitor lesson planning, schemes of work, assessments, and learner support.
- Promote learner engagement, creativity, and innovation in instruction.
Staff Management
- Lead teacher recruitment, mentorship, capacity building, and appraisals.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional integrity.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Maintain positive communication with parents, staff, learners, and the Board.
- Coordinate school events, academic clinics, co-curricular programs, and meetings.
- Represent the school professionally to education authorities and partners.
School Growth & Development
- Support enrollment growth, branding, and school marketing activities.
- Promote child safety, learner welfare, and holistic development.
- Lead school improvement initiatives and innovation projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed). Master’s in Education, Leadership, or Administration is an added advantage.
- Registered with TSC with a valid TSC number.
- At least 7 years of leadership experience, including 5 years in senior administrative roles (Deputy Principal/Headteacher).
- Strong understanding of CBC and Junior Secondary regulations.
- Proven leadership, performance management, and school administration experience.
