Job Purpose
To oversee the safe use of the school swimming pool, ensuring learner safety, hygiene, and compliance with school sports and recreation policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise learners during swimming sessions and recreational use.
• Ensure safety protocols and emergency procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the swimming pool area.
• Monitor water quality and report maintenance needs.
• Support swimming instructors during lessons and competitions.
• Promote discipline and teamwork among learners.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate in Lifeguarding, Swimming Instruction, or related field.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and learner supervision skills.
• Previous experience in pool management or lifeguarding preferred.
