Job Purpose

The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure seamless guest experiences, efficient resource utilization, and compliance with hospitality standards. This role ensures operational excellence across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments, while driving staff performance and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate activities across all hotel departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Guest Experience: Ensure high-quality service delivery, handle guest complaints, and implement feedback-driven improvements.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance to maintain service standards.
• Financial Control: Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue streams.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, labor, and hospitality regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Implement SOPs, conduct audits, and maintain brand standards.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term operational strategies and guest loyalty initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, POS, HRIS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
