Guest greeting: Welcome customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
Order management: Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting dietary needs.
Food service: Deliver meals and drinks promptly with proper presentation.
Upselling: Recommend specials and complementary items to enhance guest experience.
Customer care: Check in with guests, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
Payment handling: Process bills, including cash, card, and mobile payments (e.g., M-Pesa).
Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene standards by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy.
Team collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow servers to deliver seamless service.
Experience: Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
Communication skills: Ability to interact politely and professionally with guests and staff.
Multitasking: Handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently.
Physical stamina: Comfortable standing for long hours and carrying trays.
Teamwork: Cooperative attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in orders and presentation.
Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Hospitality training: Diploma in hospitality management, food & beverage service, or related field is an added advantage.
Language proficiency: Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Kiswahili, French) is a plus.
Food safety knowledge: Basic training in hygiene and food handling preferred.
